Out-of-School Time Programs

DCPS students in grades Pre-K-8 have access to academic support and enrichment activities free of charge at 55 schools through the District’s Out of School Time Programs (OSTP). Scholars must be enrolled to enjoy afterschool programming. Find out if your school is served by OSTP and register at dcps.dc.gov/afterschool.

  • Schools not participating in OSTP may offer their own afterschool programs to students. Please contact your student’s school for more information.

Learn24

The Learn24 network is the Bowser Administration’s hub for all afterschool and summer program opportunities available for school-aged youth (ages 5 – 18). Learn24 is led by the Deputy Mayor for Education’s Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes (OST Office). Families can utilize Learn24 to locate high-quality, out-of-school time (OST) programs. For more information about the out-of-school time opportunities available for youth and families, including information about OST scholarship opportunities, email [email protected] or visit learn24.dc.gov
